It’s Wednesday and it’s my mother’s birthday today!!! Happy Bday Mom! Hope you are having a good day! 🙂
When I was younger I used to always love to do crafts and art projects. I even went so far as to say that I wanted to an artist when I grew up. Let’s just say it’s a good thing I chose a slightly different career path. One less based on, er . . . talent.
Anyways, when I was making my 30 Under 30 list, that feeling of wanting to dig into something arts and crafty came over me and so Number 26 on my list is Create an Inspiration Book. I had visions of me cutting out pictures from magazines and gluding them onto pieces of cardstock and maybe throwing in some glitter here and there. But in reality, who has time to make such things? And, more importantly, what the heck am I going to do with it??
So, I decided to create a virtual inspriation book and I became hooked on Pinterest! This is soooo much better than cutting stuff out of magazines and gluing them together! There are infinite possibilities for “pinning” photos (if you are unfamiliar with pininterest, pinning is simply putting something up on Pinterest and re-pinning is pinning something that someone else has already put on Pinterest) and the photos available to pin . . . AMAZING! Plus, the fact that I can organize my photos into categories and place them on virtual “boards”- holy type A person’s dream!
The possibilities are infinite and endless! Plus, it’s so cool to see what other people are pinning, it is truly an inspirational board because it allows you to see things that you would never even necessarily think of! I love that you can choose to follow other pinners and automatically see what they’ve been pinning on your feed.
Finally, I love this inspiration tool because I think it’s only fair that I share my inspiration with all of you! Check out my Fitness Inspiration Board for motivational photos and quotes to get you off the couch and working out! Or check out the Workouts I Love to find out what workouts I’ve been up to or what workouts you should try!
