Today I thought it would be fun to do something a little bit different and let you, my wonderful readers, do the talking! So I created this short survey (it’s only ten easy multiple choice questions) about some of the fitness topics we’ve covered on this blog before. So I’ve been powering through my Summer Reading list. I’ve already read Inferno by Dan Brown, The Bungalow and The Last Camellia both by Sarah Jio. Now I’m onto And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini. The Last Camellia wasn’t originally on my reading list but it came out recently and I’ve loved all her books so far, so naturally I had to add it in. The Bungalow was excellent and the backdrop of Bora Bora was perfectly fitting for a summer read! A lot of Jio’s books explore connections between the past and present and this book was no exception. There was also a bit of mystery thrown in there, which always keeps me interested. Her books are hard to put down. Same with Dan Brown’s books. Like The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons, Inferno is riddled with historical references and our favorite protagonist, Robert Langdon, is back in the middle of yet another controversy. It’s an easy read with twists and turns that keep you guessing. Although the ending of Inferno doesn’t fully resolve the issue Brown choose to grapple in this piece. Nevertheless, I’m so happy the books I’ve chosen so far proved to be well worth their download price!
Readers, how is your summer reading going? Any good books lately?

I just bought Agatha Christie’s autobiography, and I’m excited to dig in! I’m also halfway through Golden Boy (Abigail Tarttelin) and Writing Down The Bones (Natalie Goldberg). Next up (after all these books), is Daring Greatly by Brene Brown!
