Linking Up for Target Practice Tuesday!

Hey guys!!  So one of my new favorite blogs to read, Fit.Fun.Femme, does an awesome link up every Tuesday called Target Practice.  Target Practice is a chance to share your fitness, health and life goals to help keep you accountable!  With my vacation last week, I’m feeling like this is a good time to take a look at my goals and reaffirm my commitment to healthy living!  Plus, as the ladies at Fit.Fun.Femme point out, what type A doesn’t love a list?

So please join me for my Target practice this week!

Life:  So I’ve made some really big life changes recently and I want to save the whole run down for a separate post, but I do want to say that my goals for this week in life are to look at what I’ve done, the steps I’ve taken to get where I am today, the goals I’ve achieved and how I can make some of my dream goals come true!

Health:  Well, I’ve got a bit of a health set back following my vacation, which I’ll tell you about later this week but let’s just say my goal right now is to heal and focus on healthy eating after all my indulgences last week!

Fitness: This week I’m all about maintaing!  I need to keep my energy up and stick to my workout schedule!  It’s going to be tough but I don’t want to get discouraged!

    Ah I love the target practice that the fit.fun.femme ladies do, I’m going to have to join in on that soon. I LOVE writing down goals. I didnt always think it was necessary, until I actually started, and realized what a difference it made in the way I approach and meet those goals. its such a great habit to get in to! and im sorry about your health set back on vacation, hope everything is ok!

      You should def do it! I would love to read your target practice. I always like to find out other people’s goals to inspire me!

    Good for you! There’s nothing like coming off a nice relaxing vacation to get you motivated!! I don’t usually write down my goals but I definitely know what I need to do for the week based on my racing schedule. This is a very busy time of year for races so I’m trying to get ALL my training in without going nuts!! I’m actually looking forward to Nov when I can relax my long runs a bit…and then after a week, I’ll miss training for a race. It’s a no win situation!!

      Haha! It IS a no win situation. I guess the challenge, like everything else, is living in the moment and appreciating what’s going on now. It’s tough for everyone.

    My goals for the week are to work a little harder on cardio by doing a spin class on Friday. I’m excited to add it to my routine!

    Oh yea I am definitely a list-girl! I feel that it helps keep me focused. I feel like all summer has been tough for me to maintain my routine so I’m excited for back to school! LOL My goal this week is to make sure I run while on a weekend trip away. I don’t want to slack on my marathon training! Good luck 🙂

    Yay…I love doing Target Practice. I find that writing down my goals helps in my motivation to complete these goals. I love all your goals and I’m excited to hear about the big changes in your life!
