Hi friends! I hope you enjoyed my little recap of Daydream Island. We had such a blast while we were there playing tennis, taking out boats and even jetskiing! I can’t help but look at the photos longingly. I wish we could go back!
The views were so amazing I just had to film a video for you all! So I’ve got another barre video for you to help you #Jumpstart January! This video can be done absolutely anywhere. You don’t need any equipment, just your own bodyweight. This one was a killer and I was sore for a few days after! If you need to take a break at any time, just pause the video and jump back in when you are ready. The more you do it, the better your strength and endurance will become so you’ll eventually be able to do it without stopping!*
This video looks so tranquil but I actually got attacked by a bunch of horseflies. I was editing this video and all of a sudden I started going nuts and attacking horseflies with my flip flop. Lol! That part obviously got cut! 🙂
Readers, have you ever been inspired to do something by your surroundings? How are your new year’s resolutions going? Any vacations planned to escape the winter weather?

I’ve wanted to try a Barre class for so long! Looks like I’ll be trying yours asap. My fitness resolutions are actually going well! Despite getting a little off track due to feeling under the weather. As long as the scale moves in the right direction… I am happy. 🙂
This is cool! I might do this tonight after a short airplane ride. My legs would be shaking so bad! It is over 70 degrees here today, so I have no need to escape for the winter. 🙂 Maybe in the summer I will want to go somewhere a little bit hotter.
Thanks Elise! I tried to convince my husband to film me but he didn’t want to. Luckily I found a spot on the island where they have this movie theater set up so there were these cement stairs and I just propped the camera on one of the stairs!
