I received a free six-month trial of MyYogaWorks in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Hi there! How was your weekend? We had some beautiful weather here! I’m so excited to tell you about YogaWorks new online platform for yoga classes, MyYogaWorks. You know I love my online classes, so I was excited to get the opportunity to try this out! I’ve been to the YogaWorks studio in NYC before and they offer some really great classes focused on alignment, posture and building on fundamentals. I was excited to see what their online workouts would be like.
I was immediately excited to see that there were prenatal classes! I love practicing prenatal at home because it is so relaxing and helps me transition into relaxation mode after work.
The first class I tried was the Prenatal Stretch class, which was about 20 minutes long and offered some great stretches that I was able to do right before bed. If was perfect for getting the blood flowing and stretch out all my tight limbs.
I was really excited to try the 2nd Trimester Prenatal for obvious reasons! The class showed a great range of options for your second tri. One thing I love about the prenatal classes are that there is always at least one pregnant participant in the video demonstrating modifications so there are options no matter who you feel.
My favorite class so far is the Strong Prenatal Challenge. I find that prenatal classes can often times move very slowly and there are days when I would love to pick up the pace a little. I don’t always need an explanation for every single pose because I’ve been practicing yoga for awhile. I appreciated that these class kept the pace moving while still offering important modification and alignment cues targeted towards expectant moms. The pace wasn’t too hectic though so I never felt rushed or like I was fatiguing.
A non-prenatal class I thought was perfect for work is a five minute Shoulder and Neck Release class. I did it at my desk and it felt so good since I hold so much tension up in my neck and shoulder area. There are 14 videos that offer these quick five minute practices and I can’t wait to try them out when I just need a quick fix.
There is actually an entire Journey to Birth series, which provides users with a suggested calendar for a 7 day practice based on whether you are beginner or advanced. I thought this was really cool!
Besides the prenatal classes, I browsed some of MyYogaWorks other class offerings and there are so many great videos on there to try! A few I earmarked for later include this Cardio Fat Burn class, which looks like a fast-paced vinyasa style class.
This Runner’s Stretch and Unwind class looks perfect for a nice post-run or post-cardio class to really stretch out the muscles.
In addition to yoga classes, MyYogaWorks also offers some pilates, sculpting and barre classes, which I always love.
There are even some partner yoga classes that look fun!
MyYogaWorks has a huge range of variety in styles, levels and time making this a perfect option for anyone. Whether you are beginner or advanced or want to practice for 5 minutes or 90 minutes, there is a class for you. And if you want to try it out for ONE MONTH FREE, just use the coupon code: bloggermonth and you can see what the buzz is about!
Readers, what MyYogaWorks class would you like to try? Are you a fan of yoga at home? What’s your favorite kind of yoga?

June 30, 2014I never thought about doing a class at work to relieve the tension…makes total sense because sometimes I am crazy stressed at work and can’t get to the gym, such a perfect solution!

July 2, 2014I know! Plus they are only five minutes long so it’s not like you are stopping your whole day. It’s equivalent to taking a bathroom break!
