The Twelve Days of Fitness: Day 6
Hey ya!  How’s it going!?  Is it Friday?  I have lost all track of days.  One day flows into the next and there is not much to distinguish one from the next!  But I do know that today is halfway through the Twelve Days of Fitness!  If you need to catch up, check out my Instagram #12daysoffitness.

Jump Rope 
This one is old school but so effective.  Grab a jump rope and get skipping for just 10 minutes.  You’ll torch a ton of calories and get your heart rate up.  No rope?  No problem.  Pretend like you are holding a rope in your hand and circle your arms while jumping over your imaginary rope.
Readers, do you jump rope?  Were you any good at double dutch?  I wasn’t!

    Double Dutch often created arguments among the 5th graders–one accusing the other of pulling on the rope to foil the jumper–harder to see in Double Dutch! The banter took up almost all of the recess time at school rather than jumping. Work out jump rope is more joyous!!

    I love using the Jump Rope. Its how I get in my Early morning Cardio without waking up the Hubby ;0)
    I do a Tabata workout using the Jump Rope and it hurts to good ;0)

    I loved double dutch ! I lived on a street with tons of kids my age… so there was always someone to jump rope with.

    I used to LOVE jump rope when I was a kid! I think that’s probably the last time I did it, haha.

    I love to jump rope – such great exercise!!!
    I could never double dutch – way too much coordination required.
