I’m on a total fashion kick. Now that I finally not pregnant or postpartum, I’m ready to fit into some cute clothes again. Plus, now that I don’t work in an office everyday, I feel like I need a wardrobe makeover to give me some casual bit nice looking pieces. When I found out I was going to be back in the states, I couldn’t wait to order myself a Stitch Fix box!
I’m so glad I did! I ended up loving everything that came in my box. Plus I loved the styling ideas. I felt like I got 15 outfits instead of five. I decided to try on each item of clothing and pair it with various items to style the clothing three different ways. I received five items in my Stitch Fix (referral link) and styled each one three ways for different looks.
The first top was this cute turquoise stripe topped. I love stripes and turquoise so I could hardly go wrong with this top. Luckily it for like a charm and was super comfortable.
I wore the shirt with jeans and some bracelets for a casual day out.
I threw on a pair of shorts and grabbed my baby bag for an easy mom on-the-go look.
I also got a little dating and paired the top with pink pants and my pink wallet for a bolder and more colorful look for shopping or city walking.
Next up was this gorgeous coral top. I loved the color and the floaty style with embroiled details.
I paired it with some ankle length cuffed jeans, leather sandals, a leather satchel, some bangles and a chunky white necklace. A casual but pulled together look perfect for a brunch.
I love the scalloped detail on this top.
White shorts and flip flops make this top casual enough for a backyard bbq.
For a night out, I paired this top with ankle length white jeans, nude pumps and a chunky turquoise necklace. I am a huge fan of the coral/turquoise combo. It’s unexpected yet totally works.
This lavender top was so pretty and not a color I have a lot of in my wardrobe so I was excited to try it on. I paired it with nude wedges, white ankle jeans, a white chunky necklace and some sparkly bangles for a casual-dressed up look perfect for a date-movie night or a casual dinner.
The material is super soft and has this great eyelet detail. I love that the top part is fitted while the bottom part just flows.
Paired with dark skinny jeans, a sparkly necklace and some leather sandals, this outfit works well for a day out with friends or a fun shopping trip.
Dressed down with some shorts and flip flops, this outfit is great for a summer beach vacation.
At first I wasn’t sure about this multicolored top. It isn’t what I would technically think of as my style but I tried it on with some coral shorts to bring out the coral ribbed lining.
I grabbed a tote bag and some sandals and felt ready to hit the farmer’s market. I love the contrast in this top.
I dressed it up for a fancy backyard pool party with some high heeled leather sandals, a leather bag and some neutral shorts.
With some cuffed jeans and flats, this outfit works for errands or coffee with friends.
Next was this great, fun black dress. It really reminded me of something you might see in Kate Spade. I loved the black and white. I put it on with a black cross-body purse and some black bangles and heels for a flirty date look.
I added a leather jacket for an edgier look.
For a fun day out I paired the dress with flats, bangles and some fun cat eye sunglasses.
For a pop of color, I added in a pink bangle, a pink wallet clutch and my black, white and pink phone. Some silver sandals completed this look.
Readers, what do you need more of in your wardrobe: pants or tops? Do style an outfit for a dressed up and dressed down look? Favorite summer trend?
Wow girl – that is A LOT of outfit changes! You look great in all of them, of course. I’ve heard a lot about Stitch Fix but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I feel like, in the summer, I just live in shorts and tanks!! I do, however, love your accessories!!
OK! I will take that coral scalloped edge top and the medallion multicolored top any day of the week (your jewelry can come, too!). I often style dress up and down with the same pieces–shoes and bags and make the difference. Work dresses can easily become fun dresses with flats or sandals and a clutch or cross body bag. You should keep all of those Stitch Fix outfits.
Such cute clothes, and I especially love the dress and coral top! I want to get more coral clothing because I love the color for summer. I’ve heard so much about Stitch Fix but have yet to try it… maybe sometime soon I’ll give it a go!
Excellent workout as always. It's challenging, fun and easily one of my favorite workouts!
Fantastic class! Great technique pointers. Always new exercises to challenge oneself!
I am excited to take classes with Brittany in person this summer! I have followed Brittany online for some time. I particularly like the Barre and Pilates workout videos. Her workout techniques reflect current thinking and best practices. She supports all levels of fitness. Definitely worth a try!
Brittany is the BEST. She is inspirational, motivational and innovative. No two classes are ever the same. I'm sad when the summer classes end, but I'm looking forward to checking out her online classes this fall and winter.
My wife and I decided to give Balance Barre Fitness a try and we were not disappointed. We thought the classes would be pretty easy but were surprised at how rigorous they were. The class was great for working on our coordination and core strength. I don't get to many ...
