Hi friends! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! We didn’t have the best weather but we still managed to have a great one. On Saturday we woke up bright and early and headed out to western Mass for a day at Davis Farmland. To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect since Cooper is still a little too young to do any real “kids” activities, but we met my cousin and her two little boys (one is just three months!) and my aunt there.
I ended up being surprised by how interested Cooper was with all the animals! We saw so many great little guys like the pigs!
And so much more!
While most of the animals were well behaved, we did have one run-in with a cheeky llama.
He caught hold of Cooper’s bottle and decided he wanted it for himself.
Cooper was first interested in petting a chicken that one of the workers was holding. He just put him arm out and started patting the chicken. It was so cute until he tried to pull the chicken’s feathers off.
Then there was the big black cow. He just started patting the area in between the cow’s eyes. Apparently the cow didn’t mind…he was more interested in whether or not we had any food.
And of course, we couldn’t be limited by just touching with our hands so we had to get our feet involved as well!
That is some weird furry cattle thing.
As we were walking away from the animals, Cooper spotted a goat who was chillin in the middle of the path. He decided he wasn’t done playing with the animals and stuck his hand right out there to pat the little guy.
Coops also had a lot of fun splashing in the water park!
And the best part about the whole day?
It completely tuckered the little guy out!
Readers, when was the last time you hung out with livestock? How was your weekend? Did you love to run through sprinklers when you were a kid?
