Hello! It’s finally Friday, actually this week flew by! I am not even sure what I did but obviously a lot. One thing is that I uploaded two new videos to my online site! Pilates Magic Circle and HIIT the Barre Part 2. Hope you enjoy! Don’t forget to use the code STUDIOFREE at checkout!
Anywho, welcome to Friday’s Food & Fitness! So many good things have gone on recently and I can’t wait to share so let’s get right to it!
A week in Cape Cod means one thing: our annual dinner at 28 Atlantic. If you are looking to have the best meal in Cape Cod, this is where you go! We normally like to get there early and have a drink at the bar down by the water. Unfortunately this year it was pouring rain!
This is a photo from two years ago.
And one from last year when I was preggers!
We got there early anyway to have a drink at the indoor bar only to find out that our reservation was for 8pm not 7pm. #epicfail
No worries! We had a drink and then moved to our table where I downed the breadbasket like a champ. I was starving and I don’t believe in no carb diets!
We started with an amuse bouche from the chef. It was a take on a tuna nicoise and was quite tasty.
Our apps were so delicious! I had foie gras with rhubarb and strawberry. I mainly ordered this because apparently foie gras has been banned from Sao Paulo (the outrage!), so I felt like I had to. It was delicious but our favorite app (that we’ve had before) is the grilled octopus in romesco with chorizo. Holy yum. Pete always chooses well (he chose me!).
I then went straight for a fresh fish course. I crave good, fresh, light fish dishes in the summer and this one did not disappoint.
Pete also had a fish dish. I think his might have been cod? I really can’t remember because mine was better!
And to balance out all that goodness, there is this Green Lemonade Smoothie I’ve been making for breakky this week. It’s super simple and you don’t even need a juicer, a blender will suffice:
I promise you it tastes delicious–a perfect mix of fruity and green!
I’ve been taking my workouts outside as much as possible!
Zumba outdoors! Yay!
Live streaming classes taught by yours truly! Double yay!
SUP. Triple yay!
And so much more that I’ll tell you about next week!
Readers, what has caused you to say triple yay lately? Best thing you ate this week? What are your weekend plans?

August 21, 2015I also do not believe in a no carb diet!!! LOL, that is so great and I’m dying to try that place. I have convinced my husband to go back to the Cape next year for at least a long weekend getaway!
My dad came home from NH and bought a SUP and we have been doing it almost every night! It’s so convenient having the lake down the street and I even take the boys for a ride – so awesome and definitely makes me say triple YAY!!
