Friday’s Food & Fitness: Feeling a Little Uninspired
September 11, 2015
Hello hello!! Can you believe it is already Friday? I mean where did the week go?!? I took the little man to this amazing playspace yesterday that is close to our apartment. They have all these fun toys and tons of room for babies and toddlers. He loves it there and then it completely wipes him out.
He was even able to balance on this cute little ladybug toy. My baby isn’t a baby any longer (tear).
Anywho, back to the topic at hand, Friday’s Food & Fitness!
After last week’s epic Plated inspired dinners, this week was a little lackluster. Not for lack of trying, I just happened to make A LOT of this mozzarella, eggplant and ciabatta sandwich for dinner one night and we ended up having it for three nights in a row! I NEVER do that, but if it works, right?
So sorry for the lack of food inspiration here this week but other good eats included overnight oats for breakfast. I have a few great recipes that I’ve shared before and I highly recommend giving them a try because it is so fun to wake up with breakfast already made and waiting for you in the fridge. Perfection.
After a weekend full of eating, I was keen to get on the fitness train this week. I taught some mamas-to-be in my living streaming pilates and barre classes this week, which was really fun! And if you are interested in joining me for a barre class, check out my schedule on the right hand side. I’ve got an AM class tomorrow!
I also got in my fix of TurboFire for the week!
Oh, and in case you forgot, I’m doing a pilates/barre Instagram challenge this month and Siggi’s is the sponsor (you could win a free month of yogurt!!!). Don’t forget to check out my mini videos on Instagram and post a photo of the move for your chance to win!
Readers, how often do you eat leftovers for dinner? What is your favorite breakfast? Inspire me with something!
