Hello from downunder! Where do I even begin!? How about with how much I love Australia and the fact that I’m typing this right now at a cafe on the beach overlooking the ocean waiting for my iced coffee and green juice. #weshouldallmove
Also, I need to start by thanking you all for sending Cooper such lovely birthday wishes! He is such a lucky little guy.
I want all the food! Seriously Australian cuisine is amazing! Healthy, fresh and delicious. I’m generally not a fan of the meat-heavy Brazilian cuisine. When I landed here, I became obsessed with everything because it all looks so appetizing!
Some highlights:
Corn fritters with spinach and pumpkin!
Spaghetti with prawns, chili, cherry tomatoes and spinach
This juice! Watermelon with mint!
Oh and you know those little protein balls you all are obsessed with? They sell those everywhere here! No work required except opening your wallet!
I love the focus on fitness in Australia and it is home to some of my favorite Les Mills classes including:
Bodypump
Bodyvive
Bodystep (not pictured!)
There is so much more to share but you’ll have to wait until next week for the full installment! In the meantime, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Readers, what was your favorite workout this week? How was your Thanksgiving? Are you a fan of protein balls?
Les Mills sounds like a good idea after Thanksgiving Day in the US! My favorite workouts this week have been, once again, 8 Weeks to a Dancer’s Body on Booyafitness with Flex Studios with commentaries @FlexStudiosnyc and @MyOwnBalance.
Great pictures! I’ve always wanted to visit Australia. And I love watermelon mint drinks! I had a watermelon mint martini in Miami a couple years ago, and it’s still one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had.

December 2, 2015Oh that martini sounds delicious! Mine didn’t have any alcohol in it but maybe next time I’ll ask for some! 😉
