Hello and happy Friday! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. To be honest, weekends sort of allude me these days now that I’m a SAHM. They all kind of blend together. I’m not really sure if that is because I feel like I’m working 7 days a week or I have a 7 day weekend every week. Will get back to you on that one.
Welcome to Friday’s Food and Fitness! Let’s jump right in.
So much food. I had three lunches this week, which was slightly outrageous. But luckily, I managed to keep them all a bit healthy.
My favorite was my birthday lunch. Look at the amazing veggies and salad! So good. And Cooper was an absolute darling throughout the whole lunch. He ate everything I gave him (eggplant! Kale! Salmon! Broccoli!) and he managed to keep his cool for an entire hour.
Well done my boy!
I only did a bit of cooking this week since my mom was spoiling me, but I did make a veggie pizza with the new spiralizer attachment I got for my KitchenAid!! Recipe coming soon.
I felt like all I did this week was workout.
Tennis lessons on Monday.
Pilates on Tuesday and Thursday.
Then dance cardio and barre on Wednesday.
Did I mention I also taught a barre class and a Pilates class in there too? Phew.
Friday’s Cooper has swimming lessons and he being only 1, needs my assistance for the lesson. I always walk out of there feeling like I just ran 5 miles. And all we are doing is swishing our kids around and holding them up a bit. Somehow it ends up being the most exhausting workout of the week.
But it’s worth it for my little stretching buddy!
Readers, what was your toughest workout this week? Do your children eat what you give them?
I have enjoyed working out each day this week to your workouts and one live class. I was even trying out some of your workouts in lasts posts which was a lot of fun and challenging. You have definitely made me appreciate and enjoy Pilates more than I have in the past. I think each workout had difficult moves that I am still learning to master. I love the results that I am seeing with doing your workouts on a constant basis.
Nancy is such a lucky eatter. I wish she would be so open to try kale or anything else. 😉 have a great weekend!
