Hello my lovely friends! It’s FriYAY! Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend? It seems like everyday here is a fun day. Cooper has developed quite the personality. We taught him how to wink, he crosses his arms and is walking backwards. I think he knows he is absolutely adorable. We are in trouble!
Welcome to this week’s edition of Friday’s Food & Fitness. Let’s get started!
The winner of this week was definitely the French Onion Soup I made for lunches this week. It was the easiest recipe ever because I cooked the onions in a slow cooker overnight and then boiled the broth just before serving.
Instead of drowning the soup with cheese, I made little cheese toasts to serve on the side and dip in the soup. Of course, this requires a little self control so you don’t eat bout 8 of them!

DANCE CARDIO! I took it back to my roots this week with a super sweaty dance cardio session and it was sooo much fun!
I’ll admit it can be hard to get yourself motivated to dance it out at home but this class had be sweating in no time! I tried out AKT in Motion online and I have to say that I’m really digging the dance cardio. It’s not quite as good as the in-studio classes mainly because the music is better in-studio and you have that group vibe. But, it was still really fun and an absolute great cardio workout! I was drenched!
Readers, what was your favorite workout this week? Tell me, what is your go-to slowcooker recipe?
Yummy looking French Onion Soup–nice recipe! I am not a big fan of pork, however, pulled pork in the slow cooker is yummy. My favorite workout this week was HIIT the Barre.
