Friday’s Food & Fitness: Infused Water Recipes

Hi all!  Happy almost weekend!  Well technically today is the weekend for me because the Hubs has the day off so we are all set to relax for the next three days.  What are you up to?
Welcome to Friday’s Food & Fitness!  It’s a good one, I promise!






I want to talk about water today.  I used to drink so much water when I worked at a desk all day.  It was easy to fill my water bottle up and sit there and chug it throughout the day.  Then going to refill my bottle would give me an excuse to get up and stretch my legs.  These days, I sometimes think about the fact that I really need a glass of water and it takes me a good 45 minutes before I can actually get that water.  And sometimes I am working away on my computer and I just can’t be bothered to get up and grab a glass.

So I decided I needed to recommit to my water habit and to help me out, I’ve been trying some fun water infusions.  Try these Infused Water Recipes the next time you are feeling a bit parched!

I had such an epic workout day on Tuesday.  In the morning I played tennis with a friend.  I’ve mostly been taking lessons but this time I actually played a game and it was so much fun!  I think I need a bit of competition!  Then I headed to my afternoon pilates class followed up by teaching barre.  I was so exhausted by the time Tuesday night hit.  I think I fell asleep the second I opened my Kindle!

But, on the positive side, I also created a great workout for you guys this week.  Pilates by the Pool–and no, you don’t actually need a pool to do this workout.  It is actually a no equipment workout using your own body weight.  If you haven’t given pilates a try because you think it is too easy, try this workout, it’s a good one!

    I love infused water! I need to try pomegranate + mint. I got an infuser pitcher for Christmas and have used it a couple of times, but I need to refill it with a new fun combo like that!

    Well, I have to tell you that my last epic workout was HIIT the Barre by Brittany. It was quite a challenge and an excellent workout! My legs were shaking yet later on I felt really good-not sore–just good!

    I would like to make some infused water at home but I never get to it. I was even looking through my cabinet for a good pitcher to use. My favorites would the citrus infused water, although the Pomegranate and Mint looks very appealing!
