Friday’s Food & Fitness: Pilates Day 2016

Hey hey, it’s Friday!  I totally dropped the ball on the whole Cinco de Mayo thing but, did you know that tomorrow, Saturday, May 7 is Global Pilates Day?  I have a ton of suggestions for you on how to celebrate so read on to find out!

So you know what they say, a smoothie a day keeps the doctor away.  Wait, they don’t say that?  Well, they should!  This smoothie is not only a healthy great way to start the day, it is a pretty pink, which happens to be my favorite color!

Plus, it is super easy to make!  All you need is one frozen banana (life hack-I do a big prep for my smoothies for the week chopping everything up and then freezing it in individual bags so I can just pull them out in the am), 1/2 cup of coconut water and 1/2 a pink pitaya.  Blend and enjoy!

    Love the color of that smoothie! So bright & beautiful. Bananas are a smoothie staple in my house.

    We celebrated Cinco de Mayo this week… I made black beach enchiladas and surprised my hubby with news that we’re heading to Mexico in a couple weeks as an early birthday gift to him!

    Happy Mother’s Day lady!! Hope that Coop gets you something good 😉

      Mexico! That is amazing! What a great gift! I love Mexico. The food is great and the weather is always really nice!
