Hello! Do you guys remember waaaaay back in January (seriously, how was that 6 months ago!?), I told you that I thought bowl recipes were definitely a trend that was going to stick around this year. In case you haven’t noticed, bowls are everywhere. I already gave you the rundown of my favorite smoothie bowls and today I have for you Healthy Bowl Recipes that you can make for lunch or dinner. So kiss your plates goodbye, grab a bowl and let’s get started!
Southwest Bowl
This Southwest Bowl takes the basic staples of a Latin American diet (rice and beans) and amps it up with veggies and some healthy fats from avocado.
Harvest Bowl
The Harvest Bowl may not look like much but it is so chock full of nutrients from ingredients like kale, apple and sweet potato. It will fill you right up!
Greek Chicken Bowl
In Greece all the food tastes fresh and light and this bowl is no exception with its veggies and light yogurt-based dressing. It will transport you!
Korean Shrimp Bowl
With lean protein and a spicy kick, the Korean Shrimp Bowl transports your tastebuds.
Caprese Bowl
The classic Caprese reinvented in this healthy bowl recipe. With a dressing drizzle and a quinoa base, you may ditch the salad version forever.
Readers, what are your favorite bowl recipes? What do you prefer grain or lettuce based bowls?
Oh I pinned this one!! I love this idea and yes, bowls seem to suddenly be everywhere. I think I will do the Caprese one first since I’ve been missing that staple from my diet since returning from Italy!! Great stuff here and thanks for making my lunch so much easier 🙂
Southwest bowls are my favorite! One of my go-to dinners is definitely throwing brown rice, beans, zucchini, pepper & some type of veggie burger pieces into a bowl. It’s easy, healthy & so yum!
