Hello hello! How was your weekend? Saturday was spent at the beach .We headed to my SIL’s baby shower on Sunday! Good times were had by all!
I’m so excited today for the next installment of Fit Fashion Club! I recently tried out the Blogilates PopFlex collection. You may recognize Blogilates as a blogger, Pilates and YouTube sensation. She has breached out to activewear and I was excited to check out some of the pieces in her beautiful collection.
Titled The Mermaid Collection, this line is full of floaty pinks, turquoise a and purples giving it an ethereal feel. Right away I was impressed with the material. It is a thicker, luxurious fabric that I’ve come to expect from high end activewear lines.
One of the first outfits I tried was the Criss Cross Crop-Mermaid and Pop Short 2.0-Mermaid. The crop top and shorts screamed hot yoga or Pilates. Perfect for when things get heated. I loved the little pocket in the shorts although I don’t think it would be very functional for holding things. The color was absolutely dreamy!
My favorite outfit by far was the Goddess Top-Seafom and Draw the Line Legging-Mermaid. I loved the color combo and the slim fit in the upper portion of the top combined with the floaty bottom. I loved the mesh detailing on the side of the pants that gave is a really streamlined look.
The other pants I tried were these gorgeous lavender colored pants, perfect Balance Barre colors! The Pointe Leggings in Periwinkle were super comfy, not at all sheer and had this fun little detailing on the ankles. My one complaint is the pants are all a little long on me! #shortgirlproblems
The top here is Athleta.
The final outfit was the Swan Tank in Periwinkle. The shorts and sports bra are C9 Champion by Target. I love the back on this outfit and it looks like a really cute top to wear out not just to the gym. Plus, it is super cool (literally it keeps you cool!).
Overall I think the PopFlex collection is incredibly beautiful, well-made and uses great fabric. I think the one criticism I have is that the cuts seem to be for a very specific body type and I’m not sure they are flattering on everyone, but they are also really different from anything I’ve seen before.
Readers, have you tried PopFlex? What outfit do you like the best?

June 27, 2016I have not tried PopFlex, however, who would not want those periwinkle leggings and the sea-foam mermaid top is dramatically lovely. I bet those flowers could not help but bloom when you arrived for your photo shoot-bet they were clamoring to bloom near you!
Me thinks you make the PopFlex attire!!

June 28, 2016Interesting, I didn’t know that she’d ventured out into activewear… Makes sense given her strong fan base! It’s funny, all of these clothes LOOK like her and seem like they’d be the ideal fit for someone with her exact body type, like what you mentioned at the end. The line looks very feminine and pretty!
