Happy September! I love this month! There is always so much to look forward to along with gorgeous sunsets, great weather and only a hint of crispness in the air. What are you looking forward to this month?
Before I can jump into September, I need to wrap up the last days of August. Let’s jump right in!
We woke up without any milk one morning this week and without any bread for toast so we were left scratching our heads for breakfast. I started pulling a few things out of the fridge and voila! We ended up with this amazing egg breakfast including a fried egg, a tortilla, black beans, avocado and salsa. Hit the spot for sure!
Normally breakfast is a piece of cake but I always have a dilemma during lunch. I never know what to buy or make. This week I ended up having lunch with some friends at a place close by and it had a great selection of healthy food PLUS a little market attached. I’m so excited to go back!
The end of August meant the end of the Adore the Core challenge. I can honestly say that I did feel my core getting stronger with this challenge and I loved the new crunchless ab moves.
Did you know that September is National Yoga Month? How can you celebrate? Try joining an Instagram challenge and challenge yourself to one yoga pose a day for the whole month. Try following @Fitapproach and join in their monthly challenge! Another great option is to just try and take class as much as possible or practice on your own at home!
Readers, are you planning to celebrate National Yoga Month? What do you most look forward to in September?
I love the September weather and the promise of bright colors and crisp air. While I lament waning summertime, fall brings the notion of starting again, learning, and reinvigorating our workout routines! I look forward to all of that! Should I celebrate Yoga month??
