Happy happy happy Friday!  I came down with a sore throat/cold yesterday so I am super excited it is the weekend!  I had to pretty much cancel my day on Thursday to rest, which is so hard for me to do!  I always feel like I need to be doing something!  How was your week?

I think the big hit this week was the chicken parm with zoodles!  Even Coops loved the chicken, which is saying something because he hasn’t been that interested in eating lately.  I think he had the same cold I have now so it was probably hurting when he was swallowing.  Plus, he might be getting another molar.  

Back to the chicken!  This one packed a special nutrition punch because I added flax and chia to my Panko crust along with some yummy herbs and spices.  I think the secret to a good crusted chicken is to really punch up the spices!

And while zoodles are definitely not pasta, I enjoyed the healthy veggie kick I got with these. 

I also found a new salad take out place, which has me super excited!  This happened yesterday:

I was all excited for a jam-packed fitness week when things kind of ending up going whomp-whomp.  My Tuesday Pilates class was cancelled so I only had to teach barre.  Wednesday and Thursday I had unscheduled days off due to this cold!  Plus, I stayed away from cardio this week because I had a blister on my heel I have been treating!  So, a disappointing week for sure, but there is always next week!

On the bright side, I published a new video to my online studio: Dance Barre Workout!

It is a ten minute workout designs to get your heart rate going using low-impact, fast paced cardio moves.  It’s quick, it’s effective and you don’t need any equipment!  Check it out!
