Hello hello my lovelies! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I’m always on a quest for something fun and exciting to do with the little one and recently I happened across the exhibit The Art of Brick!
The Art of Brick is a touring exhibit that contains pieces of art made entirely of Legos. It was beyond impressive! I can’t even imagine how many Legos went into this exhibit because there was so much detail. There was everything from giant pencils to huge skulls to human replicas!
One of my favorite parts of the exhibit was the art exhibit which mimicked famous sculptures and portraits all out of Legos. It was hard to believe that you were actually looking at Legos when viewing this part of the exhibit!
The only drawback for Cooper was that he really really wanted to touch everything and he really really couldn’t! But it was still a ton of fun to walk around and check everything out. I think he was impressed. I know I was!
I couldn’t help myself here. I lost my hands!!!
This is the iconic piece for the exhibit. I love how all the Legos fall out of it!
I think Cooper’s favorite part of the entire exhibit was the massive dinosaur. It honestly looked like it was fossils taken right out of a science museum. He was super excited when we entered the darkened room and saw the big bones!
And his favorite favorite was at the very end where there were a huge amount of Legos the kids could play with and build all kinds of things. He mostly just wanted to stick his hands in the big pile and push them all around, but either way he enjoyed it!
I find the lego art really impressive too! It’s crazy what people can make with just legos. I like that you find things that are fun for both the adult and the kiddo!
Very impressive exhibit of Lego art. Imagine! Copies of great art & sculpture out of Lego blocks! I like the photo of you & the Lego man with un-built hands!
