Hello and happy Friday to you all! This has been such a busy week I’m hoping the weekend brings some much needed relaxation but we shall see! I did get by with a little bit of meditation here and there and it helped so much! It felt like I had taken a long nap!
Welcome to Friday’s Food & Fitness!
This week was so hectic, I can’t be sure what I ate! I know that I had some delicious meals, especially some prepared by my mom, who is visiting. She even made me some pizza dough from scratch! #win
One of my favorites though was this lunch! It was pretty simple but really delicious. A cheese and spinach quesadilla with quick guacamole and pico de gallo. It packed a veggie punch while also being satisfying and tasty!
So many good fitness things this week! Tennis lessons plus two pilates classes.
And barre! This week my students gave me so much energy, which was amazing because I was dragging!
I’ve also been really good about walking this week. The weather has been nice so I’ve been trying to walk in the morning with Coops as much as possible. Plus the walk always leads to playtime in the playground, which is really nice for the little man. Although it does make it hard to get around the park more than once because he sees the playground and immediately wants to run off!
Finally, it doesn’t have anything to do with food or fitness, but I got to attend the symphony this week and it was so so fun! The place was beautiful (although we had to go through a sketchy area to get there) and the music was great!
I love quesadillas as an easy go-to meal idea! And I also did some meditation last weekend & loved it. I felt so much more calm and relaxed afterwards.
Nice jumps & leg extensions on the reformer! You are such a Foodie😊Nice to have help from your mom with the pizza dough. Fab photo of the symphony- well rounded week for you & Cooper!
