Hello hello! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a bit of a washout but we still managed to have a great time! Recently we visited JK Iguatemi here in Sao Paulo for the Alice in Wonderland exhibit. It was so well done and so much fun! Cooper had the best time running around the exhibit.
It started out with various original editions in different languages and lots of original Alice paraphernalia. It also had short clips from the Disney film tying in several different versions of the story.
We then entered the garden where Alice is when she falls into the rabbit hole. There was a tiny little hole that the children could crawl through and then walk up a flight of stairs and go down a slide to mimic falling through the rabbit hole. It was so adorable!
Into the room of doors with the key and the bottle. Cooper loved looking into mirrors that distorted your size–just like Alice growing large and small.
We then went and met Tweedledee and Tweedledum who spoke in Portuguese!
My favorite room of all was the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. It was so well done and they had someone there to take your photo! It was so adorable!
Followed by the Queen of Hearts and her garden of roses, which lit up red when you touched them.
And the final room was the new movie for Alice’s Adventures and had cutouts of the actual characters from the movie. It was also so well done!
The entire exhibit was fun, playful and incredibly cute. Although Coops was a bit young to fully appreciate the experience, he had a ton of fun running through the rooms and trying the interactive experiences! Well worth the money.
