Hello hello and happy Friday! So sorry to have dropped off this week but on Tuesday we flew to Boston for a couple of weeks. Let me tell you, flying with a toddler is NOT easy. Oh man. I think I’m traumatized.
In any event we arrived in one piece and just in time for Friday’s Food and Fitness!
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love the food here!
One of my first stops was Sweetgreen!
This Winter Waldorf hit the spot. Kale, quinoa, a mix of local squashes, blue cheese, walnuts, raisins and apples. This is basically a superfood salad on steroids. Full of omega-3s, fiber, folate, protein, magnesium, iron and tons of vitamins. Plus it tastes great and definitely not like earthy dirt, which can sometimes happen when food is just too healthy! #makesmesohappy

I practically landed and went straight to the barre! I was so excited to get in to class at Xtend Barre Newbury. A fabulous class for sure! My thighs and booty are still burning!
This weekend I’ll be at a Pilates training all weekend long so lots of working out! Just how I like it!
Ha, it sounds like you were that mom with a cranky toddler on a long flight?! I always feel bad when kids are antsy and overtired on flights – and worse for the parents usually! Last year I did a redeye next to this guy with the most gorgeous baby girl, and she screamed bloody murder for like 30 minutes! But then she passed out and slept for like 8 hours straight, so it wasn’t so bad in the end.
Excellent workout as always. It's challenging, fun and easily one of my favorite workouts!

I am excited to take classes with Brittany in person this summer! I have followed Brittany online for some time. I particularly like the Barre and Pilates workout videos. Her workout techniques reflect current thinking and best practices. She supports all levels of fitness. Definitely worth a try!
Brittany is the BEST. She is inspirational, motivational and innovative. No two classes are ever the same. I'm sad when the summer classes end, but I'm looking forward to checking out her online classes this fall and winter.
