Fit Fashion Club: PopFlex Dark Bloom & Kate Spade Activewear

Hello hello! How was your weekend? I spent mine in Pilates training. Even though I already have my mat certification, I wanted to explore a certification program that went deeper into the exercises and also could progress beyond mat. I chose Balanced Body because I love practicing on their equipment and they have a comprehensive training program that goes well beyond just basic mat. So training 1 is done and now I just have to log my practice hours before moving on to more trainings! I’m hoping to become certified by the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) after I complete my Balanced Body training.
You may remember my initial review of PopFlex’s first collection. The pieces are super pretty but not necessarily flattering on every body type. Well this time, she hit the ball out of the park with these Wishing Star leggings in this deep plum shade. Oh so pretty but also a bit trendy and edgy. I wore them for my 8 hours of training and they were super comfy! I felt great in them all day and I think they were pretty flattering. I loved the side mesh and cross stitch detailing!
It also matched perfectly with the Dark Bloom yoga mat. I’m loving all the purples together. Super dark and amazing!
This Kate Spade Beyond Yoga Cinched Bow Tank top is to die for! I got it in basic black but they have so many options like a great wine color. The material is so so soft and comfy! Plus, the cut is extremely flattering. I loved the back bow detail because it wouldn’t be Kate Spade without a bow!

Both items stayed in place and felt incredibly comfortable as I moved around. They were truly great looking and also functional. It can sometimes be hard to find a balance between cute and practical but both of these hit the mark!
Excellent workout as always. It's challenging, fun and easily one of my favorite workouts!

I am excited to take classes with Brittany in person this summer! I have followed Brittany online for some time. I particularly like the Barre and Pilates workout videos. Her workout techniques reflect current thinking and best practices. She supports all levels of fitness. Definitely worth a try!
Brittany is the BEST. She is inspirational, motivational and innovative. No two classes are ever the same. I'm sad when the summer classes end, but I'm looking forward to checking out her online classes this fall and winter.
My wife and I decided to give Balance Barre Fitness a try and we were not disappointed. We thought the classes would be pretty easy but were surprised at how rigorous they were. The class was great for working on our coordination and core strength. I don't get to many ...
