Checking out Legoland Discovery Center Boston

Hello!  We are still recovering from our whirlwind time in Massachusetts.  Looking back over the photos, we did so much and had so much fun!  One of the things I was really excited to do was to bring Cooper to Legoland Discovery Center Boston.  They’ve only been open for 3 years so it is relatively new and I was excited to check it out.

We got there right at 10am when they opened on a weekday and we were happy to see that it wasn’t busy.  One quick elevator ride up and we were in Legoland!  We skipped the factory tour since Cooper is still pretty young and headed right onto Kingdom Quest Ride.  I think we might have had more fun than him shooting at the bad guys but the ride was cute and he enjoyed seeing all of the little lego men and the interactive videos.

After the ride we headed right into Miniland, which was my favorite part of the entire visit.  It was a mini Boston created out of Legos!  You could see all of the major attractions and it was so well done!  Every ten minutes or so, the lights would dim and the entire city would light up and there would be a firework display on the walls, which was so cute.

Mini Boston!

Look at all the mini people!

A mini Gilette Stadium!

A mini Fenway!  You can even “play” ball!

A mini Logan Airport!

After Miniland, we headed into the main play area.  I was excited to check out the Duplo Farm because it is specifically designed for the little kids but it was kind of disappointing because there wasn’t much going on there.  Cooper went down the slide once and then called it quits there!

It was ok though because he was super excited to check everything else out including Lego Friends miniature house with a mini kitchen, dining room and living room.

He also enjoyed climbing high into the Lego City Play Zone.  We went up super high!  I have only seen one of these play zones before so it was fun to check it out and run around with all the soft blocks around.

My Dad set to work building Cooper a car out of Legos so he could race them down the racing track.  He was less interested in racing and more interested in playing with the cars!

All in all we had a really fun day and while there were less attractions than other places we have been, it was definitely worth our time to visit!

I cannot believe I didn’t even know this place existed! My boys are SO into Legos right now that we probably have to do this at some point!! Love the pictures and it looks like a great spot. Thanks for sharing and hope you had a great time in the states 🙂
