Thanksgiving Pretox

Thanksgiving!  It’s just days away and while I know lots of people are getting excited for turkey with all the fixings, a lot of us are also inwardly groaning.  All the food and treats.  This is the kickoff to the holiday season that often ends in expanding waistlines.  But it doesn’t have to mean the beginning of the end of button pants.  This year, do a Thanksgiving Pretox!

What’s a pretox?  A pretox is like a detox but you do it before the event that would normally require detoxing.  So here’s how this Thanksgiving Pretox works.

First, follow this simple 3 day eating plan to eat healthy and feel great before the big day!

Then, spend 10 minutes (only 10 minutes!!) a day getting your sweat on!

When Thanksgiving arrives, you’ll be feeling great and not so guilty about all that turkey!

3 Day Pretox Meal Plan

Day 1

Breakfast:  Pineapple Green Juice + 1 2% Plain Greek Yogurt with 1 tsp of honey

Lunch: Goat Cheese and Fig Salad

Dinner: Thai Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Day 2

Breakfast: Mango Blueberry Smoothie Bowl

Lunch: Pomegranate and Raspberry Kale Salad

Dinner: Fish Tacos

Day 3

Breakfast: Peanut Butter & Jelly Overnight Oats

Lunch: Greek Chicken Bowl

Dinner: Vegetarian Pho

3 Days, 10 Minutes a Day Workout Plan

Day 1

Dance Barre- Toned Arms

Day 2
No Equipment Barre Workout

Day 3

Pilates Mat Class

    The Thanksgiving pretoxt is an effective idea. My menu did not quite follow what I was trying to achieve with you, however, that is on me! The burst of workouts were just what I needed to get going while letting go of some of the “hurriedness.”
