I can’t believe 2017 is already over! This year absolutely flew by. I’m excited to see what 2018 holds and hopefully I’ll have some exciting things for you all!
Let’s start out with one exciting hint and hat is a brand new video available for BBF On Demand customers! You guys love Advanced Barre so I decided to throw another tough one at you with Advanced Barre 2. This one has all the tough moves similar to Advanced Barre 1 and challenges you to take your barre workout to the next level.
We start out with our low impact cardio warm up. I give you the option to use light 1 lb weights to help increase resistance and get your heart pumping. No worries if you don’t want to use weights, the moves will definitely get you sweating and out of breath.
We don’t take a break as we move on to our Upper Body section using 2 lb weights to tone those arm and back muscles. Don’t be fooled though, you’ll still get some cardio and lower body action with our compound moves!
Next we head to the barre for an extended Lower Body section. Here we will do some more low impact cardio and focus on those small movements to get deep into our thigh and seat muscles. Expect non-stop combos to keep your heart rate up and work the legs until fatigue. You’ll be shaking but feel great when we finally hit the mat.
We finish on the mat toning our core using some props and focusing on getting into those deep abdominal muscles. Your whole body will be worked and we finish out with a well deserved stretch. Don’t leave until you’ve lengthened those muscles!
If you have had holidays like mine full of excess, tv bingeing and maybe a little bit of sickness this will be a great way to get back into it. If you are new or still recovering you might want to ease into it with a more gentle class like Beginner Barre or Signature Barre.
