We’re Expanding!

Classes are getting tougher, videos are becoming more frequent, the music is getting better.  It’s no surprise that we are expanding over here at Brittany Bendall Fitness!  My Balance Barre & Pilates classes are taking off so we thought it was time to add someone to the team.

Ok admittedly the little person is not going to be all that much help!

We are proud to announce that we are expecting baby no. 2 in September 2018.  I’m about 15 weeks right now and feeling pretty good except for some nagging colds and exhaustion (being pregnant with a preschooler is so much harder than being pregnant without one!).  I’m so happy to finally be in my second trimester.  Here’s a little recap.

How have you been feeling?

Not too bad.  The first pregnancy was definitely the worst.  This time around there was still morning sickness but the nausea came and went and wasn’t as severe or as constant.  However, I had a cold that lasted two weeks and turned into a sinus infection with bad headaches.  This was no fun!  I had to take a corticosteroid, which I didn’t love, but luckily cured the sinus infection!

And a short few weeks later I came down with another cold so I’ve been battling illness and exhaustion but on the overall it’s been pretty good.

Do you have food aversions or cravings?

Not as much as last time.  I have definitely had days were something will sound really good and something else will sound really gross but I’ve been pretty consistent with my diet.  I’m trying to eat healthy but sometimes only carbs will do the trick.  I’ve been pretty good at keeping up with my salads and fresh juices.  Unfortunately I have been having a ton of digestive issues this time around and that makes eating a bit of a chore sometimes but I push through.

Have you been exercising?

Yes!  I’ve been consistently exercising the entire time.  There have definitely been days were I had to cut it short or give it up completely but I’ve been able to maintain a great schedule of barre, pilates, walking, cardio and toning.

What can you expect from BBF? 

Expect the same high quality videos posted with regularity so your routine doesn’t have to change.  If you are an expecting mom, get ready for some all new prenatal barre and pilates videos.  I will also have a new prenatal program available coming soon!  Bump at the Barre® is in full swing!

And of course, there will be postnatal fun as well with Babies at the Barre™!  So much to look forward to!

    I’m so happy and excited for all of you!! I saw this on FB first and just smiled so big!! What an exciting time for you. I know you will all enjoy it so much 🙂 Hope you stay feeling (mostly) good though the next few months!
