This video brings me waaaaay back to the beginning of my barre career. I love the moves and the old school vibe. Things have progressed and changed since then but classics never die and are always just as good as you remember them.
We start out with a brief low-impact cardio warm-up to get the muscles warm and start revving the heart rate.
We then move on to our upper body section. In this section we use a heavy and a light weight (I’m using 5 lbs and 3lbs) to target the arms, shoulders and back. You’ll see more traditional sculpting moves like full range bicep curls and tricep kickbacks.
After burning out the upper body, we move to the barre for some targeted thigh and seat toning using a playground ball. This section gets our heart pumping and our legs shaking. Think of classic moves like narrow V and swivel chair.
Finally we move down to the mat for some amazing ab work that will leave your core burning.
