How is the new year treating you so far? 2019 is off to a great start and I want you to celebrate how amazing you are with New Year, Awesome You Barre!

This barre video is designed to help you get back on track after the holidays and reward yourself with some movement to make you feel amazing.

The class starts off with a low-impact cardio warm-up. During this section we will get the heart pumping, burn some major calories and get the muscles nice and warm.

We then move on to upper body where I up the ante with 3lb weights. Get ready for some creative moves to help tone those arms and shoulders. Don’t worry, we won’t forget about the lower body!

New Year Awesome You Barre Class to strengthen, tone and celebrate how awesome you already are!

Next we move to the barre to focus on legs and glutes. They will be screaming by the end of this class. There is a nice mix of cardio and strength at the barre. Just grab a chair or sturdy piece of furniture for this section.

We end with a nice relaxing stretch to elongate those muscles, bring the heart rate down and prevent injuries. You will feel like you have worked every inch of your body while ending centered and balanced.

This is my first class back after having baby Wyatt so I’m getting back on track right along with you. Rather than focusing on what I’m not achieving or what fitness I may have lost during my pregnancy, I’m focusing on how amazing it feels to move again. My body deserves to feel good after everything it has done and this class achieves just that.

So no matter whether you are bouncing back after baby or just getting back on track for 2019, remember to congratulate yourself for committing to the workout and enjoy the sensation of movement. You deserve this!

    New Year, Awesome You is a really good Challenge–it is so well planned and organized. I am just following your daily video workout routines. You hit all the areas and give a good cardio, too.
