Last night I was lucky enough to be invited to an event called Celebrate InStyle hosted by InStyle and Single Edition Media called Celebrate the Season In Style. It was an amazing opportunity to check out the latest trends for the holiday season and spring. Now that Baby B is almost here, I’m excited to get back into some “normal” clothes and feel stylish again. I was so excited to check out the latest from InStyle and all the brands in attendance.
While there were a ton of awesome brands, a few of my favorites were Metaphor for Sears, Skinnygirl, Jergens and Vigoss who gave away free pairs of jeans!!
I lived that the Metaphor for Sears had this new amazing line aimed at day-to-night and week-to-weekend all for under $100! And let me tell you, everything was super cute!!
I’m kind of obsessed!
I was also a big fan is the new Skinnygirl Sparkling Drinks and Skinnygril Daily bars. I tried the pineapple coconut drink and it was so good!
Jergens was also a hit with their BB cream (affiliate link) for the body. I love my BB face cream so I was excited to learn about the body cream. It’s so cool because it hydrates, illuminates, evens, firms and corrects! A magic cream indeed.
Ok so I know you are dying to find out what is going to be interns this season! Here’s a few that I loved:
Also, for all you bloggers out there, we were introduced to a cool new social media platform called Tagspire. It is most similar to Pinterest but the cool thing is that you can actually recommend products on the site for people to purchase and then you get an affiliate commission. The best part is you can embed the Tagspire post into your own site so you aren’t driving traffic away from your blog. How cool is that?
A special thanks to all the amazing sponsors:
Readers, have you started thinking about your holiday shopping? What’s your favorite trend of the season? What do you think of the activewear paired with ready-to-wear trend?

October 29, 2014this looks like a great event, with a lot of fun sponsors. hmm, fave trend… i can’t say i’m into high fashion or what’s “trendy” so much as what fits my personal style, which is very much a ripped jeans and Chuck Taylors with messy hair or snap backs/toques sort of thing. i love leather moto jackets with chunky woven scarves. i actually walked past Bryant Park last night and saw their holiday shoppes are going up already, which is exciting — i look forward to hitting those several times every year!

October 29, 2014What a fun event! The leather pants make me think of the Friends episode when Ross wears the leather pants and gets trapped in the bathroom hahaha. That Jergens product looks pretty sweet! And I’m all about the buff nails today – that’s exactly what I did this morning!

October 29, 2014I LOVE watches. Those are beautiful.
Are you doing this too? – I keep looking at non-maternity clothes, now that I’m close to delivering. I have to remind myself that there is a 4th trimester and I shouldn’t go bananas over new clothes yet. Plus I have a whole closet of things I haven’t been able to wear for nearly a year, so they might feel new to me.
I started Christmas shopping (online) already. I make a list of items / ideas for people I am buying for in early October and start looking to buy at good prices. I like to have it all done by early December.

October 29, 2014sooooooooo you are crazy amazing for getting this post up today. I mean wowza! It was so good to see you. You totally had the “Yes, I’m almost due but I’m still handling my business” look all over you! LOL

October 29, 2014Looks like lots of fun! I am so with you with wanting to get back into some cute clothes! My maternity stuff is all getting tight, but I refuse to buy anything more with only 3 weeks to go! I’ve started thinking about my holiday shopping and am trying to get any of the stuff that I can’t buy online done and out of the way before the little one arrives!

October 29, 2014I love nude nails! I’ll have to check out Jergens BB cream — I moisturize every day and love a good cream!

October 29, 2014What a great event and I really like all those sponsors. Color block jackets go with so many outfits. Glad to say that I am always on trend with nude and barely colored nail polish! I hope you go to more of these instyle events and post the cool things coming out.

October 29, 2014Oh – I think I need a little red dress!!!
Another social media platform???? I will have to check it out but I feel sure it will be awhile – I’m pretty lame at keeping up with most forms of social media.
