Hi! How has your week been so far? I feel like mine has been so super busy and the little guy is determined to sleep as little as possible. Oy! Ahhhhh well, things could be worse!
I am so excited for today’s post! I have two awesome things to share with you. First, HIIT the Barre™. I have been wanting to share this with you since before I got pregnant. In fact, I planned out this class and then found out I was pregnant. All of a sudden, HIIT workouts were absolutely no fun. I filmed a video anyway but there was a glare on the video so I had to nix it. Then I got way too pregnant to film another HIIT the Barre™ video. Soooooo, after 9 months of being pregnant and six months with a little baby running around, I’m finally sharing this with you! I hope you like it!
HIIT the Barre™ combines traditional barre strengthening and toning exercises with Hight Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) moves. This video includes 4 sprints with each sprint containing 1-3 barre toning moves and 1 HIIT exercise. Prepare to push yourself to your limits and then recover with focused strength training. Please note that this video includes non-low-impact moves. You should be in good physical condition to participate in this video and as always, you should consult a physician before starting this workout.* Check it out!
And here is the printable in case you want to take it with you to the gym!
The Link-Up
Thank you all so much for your amazing comments on last Thursday’s first Throwback Thursday post! I was so excited by how enthusiastic you were about the post and the idea! In fact, my good friend Allie at VitaTrain4Life suggested I do a link-up and that is exactly what I’m going to do! So here’s the deal!
First, grab my badge and add it to your post!
Then, follow these guidelines:
1. The purpose of this link-up is to revive some of our old blog posts that we think merit a second look for our old readers and to introduce our new readers to some great old content.
2. Find an old post you like and re-publish it on your blog using the Thursday Throwback title and badge.
3. Come on over to the link-up and add your link!
4. Please check out the links of three other linkers and show them a little love via a comment or social media share.
This is the easiest link-up ever because the post has already been written and all you have to do is just add in your link! So no excuses for not showing a little love to other bloggers. You might even find someone new you like!
Readers, are you going to join the link-up tomorrow? Have you ever combined a HIIT workout with another form of exercise (like strength training, yoga, etc.)?
