Hello hello! Happy Wednesday! It’s the middle of the week, which usually means 1 of 2 things–either you’ve been getting a ton done this week and feel great about all you’ve accomplished by Wednesday or you have so much on your plate you can’t believe it is already Wednesday and why are there not more hours in the day? Which camp are you in this week? Personally I’m in the latter, but part of that is because I’m leaving for Blogfest tomorrow! Whoot whoot! Super excited to be heading to Cali for blogging and fitnessing extravaganza. Don’t you worry your pretty little head though, tomorrow’s Throwback Thursday post and link-up will still be there! Cue sighs of relief.
Anyway, back to today’s topic. Juice! I’ve been a huge consumer of juice for the past few years but only recently did I start making my own juice at home. I have to tell you, it’s nice not to have to spend $7-8 per juice, not to mention making your own combinations. While some are hits and others are not so much hits, I’ve got a few tried and true recipes I love!
Watermelon + Pineapple-Hear the tropics calling your name! A combination of watermelon, pineapple and green apple make this juice fruity and refreshing. It’s a great post-workout juice because of the hydrating content.
Veggie Delight– Carrots, lemon, cucumber, green apple and ginger. Packed with yummy goodness, this juice is a daily dose of vitamins!
Strawberry Heaven– Strawberries, fresh squeezed orange juice, banana and honey. I love waking up to something as tasty as this!
Tropical Green Juice– Fresh aqua de coco, kale, lime juice, mint, shredded coconut. Refreshing and healthy!
Green Pineapple– Pineapple, kale, spinach, apple and mint. The mint is super refreshing while the apple and pineapple offset the denseness of the spinach and kale. Tons of nutrients!
Banana Rama– Banana, red apple, aqua de coco and a scoop of acai powder. *Note watch for super powers after drinking.
Beets + Carrots– Beets, carrots, lemon, ginger and spinach. Lots of veggies and lots of goodness!
Minty Goodness– Green apple, mint, watermelon, kale. An unlikely combo that tastes delicious!
Readers, what’s your go-to juice recipe? Are you a fan of making it at home or buying it? What Wednesday camp are you in?
Loe this. I’m all about smoothies in the summer time. Sometimes I’ll have two a day! I love almond milk, almond butter, banana, green apple, spinach, and kale. I like to make my smoothies at home so I know exactly how much of what I’m putting in, but some smoothies just can’t be replicated so I treat myself to those : ) Thanks for sharing some great combos!
