Find Your Flexibility

Hello hello!  Happy Wednesday.  I have a really exciting announcement today!  Even though I spend a lot of time working on my pilates and barre moves, which inherently incorporate a lot of stretching, I still find that since my dancing days, I’ve lost a bit of flexibility.  When I look at Cooper and see how he can get his foot in his mouth, I marvel at how much flexibility we have when we are born and how much we lose over time.  So, for the month of August, I’m committed to improving my flexibility.

Now, I can’t be the only one out there who feels like they could improve their flexibility.  Am I right?  So, I’m challenging YOU to join my in August to Find Your Flexibility!  I’m hosting an Instagram challenge for the month of August #FindYourFlexibility and I hope you will join me.  Each move is focused on stretching your muscles and improving your flexibility.  I’ve participated in a lot of yoga challenges on Instagram and they are tons of fun, but I wanted to appeal to the masses here.  This isn’t yoga, it’s all about stretching, and ANYONE can join.  Here’s what you have to do:

1. Follow me on Instagram. I’ll be posting the #FindYourFlexibility graphic today.

2.  Repost the graphic tagging me (@MyOwnBalance) and some of your friends!

3.  Post your flexibility photo once a day (it’s ok if you get behind and need to catch up!) and hashtag #FindYourFlexibility.

4.  And to sweeten the pot a little, there is an AMAZING prize for the participant who joins in on the fun for the entire month.  I’ll have more details in another post, but you have to tag @MomentumJewelry in your posts.

5.  Have fun and play along!

    Oooh I’m having my challenge group do a similar yoga challenge in August! Flexibility is so important and so often overlooked! 😀

    Great idea! I really need to work on my quads/hip flexor flexibility. You look like you’re already doing pretty well in the flexibility department. 🙂

    omg! I am going to try my best to be completely honest I SUCK at IG challenges, I pretty much never make it past day 5. LOL I am going to try my hardest though! (and try to figure out a photographer hahah)

      Nellie! Don’t worry about it. I always fall behind on the challenges. I just figure if I’ve done it for some period of time I must have improved myself a little bit and that is all that matters! 🙂

    YAY, so much fun! I love stretching and always think it feels so good. I stretch daily and am always looking to improve my flexibility – obviously participating in your challenge! 🙂
