I have an exciting announcement about pre & post-natal pilates towards the end of the post!
Hello and happy Friday! Is it just me or did this week fly by? I feel like I was just wishing you all a happy Friday yesterday. I guess that’s a sign of a good week!
I’m so bummed though because I wanted to take Cooper to this fun baby class on Thursday but I forgot it was my “rodizio” (basically one day out of the week where you can’t drive between the hours of 7-10am and 5-8pm) and the class didn’t start until 5pm. Whomp whomp. Oh well, there’s always next week!
I was so lax with my food photography this week. I did make this amazing homemade granola, which I seriously mourned when I ran out of it by Wednesday.
And then there was this pumpkin pie smoothie.
But besides that I really lived off staples and leftovers this week and some salads for lunch. The Hubs has been working like crazy so I didn’t get too ambitious in the kitchen since it was just me.
So I have a really fun and exciting fitness announcement today! I recently completed my training for a pre & post-natal pilates certification! I’m now a specialist in pre & post-natal pilates, which is hugely helpful for my barre classes as well! I’ve been teaching a lot of moms-to-be in my live streaming classes and I’m excited to have even more knowledge to help them. If you are a mom-to-be, check out some of my prenatal barre videos! Additionally, I’ve been working on a project to help with my postnatal clients, which I’m super excited about.
While you are waiting for that to come out, you can check out my brand new collaboration with Booya Fitness! I have created a Post-Baby Bounce Back workout plan using Booya’s fabulous workouts and some of my expertise in pre & post-natal pilates and working out with a baby. It also has some great meal planning tips and recipes, as well as ways to settle into your new life as a mom. I really hope you check it out! Let me know if you like it. 😉
And, for my non pre/post-natal pilates and barre clients, check out my new mat pilates video uploaded to my online site! It is Pilates to Go. All you need is 30 minutes and a mat!
Readers, what was your best workout this week? What do you make for yourself when you eat alone?
Congrats on the certification! That’s exciting! I’ve been doing yoga a lot lately, but not too much Pilates – though as you know, some of the moves overlap sometimes. I did a killer Pilates class a few weeks ago though!
