Hello hello!! Don’t worry! I’m still here. I took some time off to travel with my family this week and it was amazing. So busy and yet relaxing at the same time. We are just getting back into the swing of things over here but I’m happy to be home!
Welcome to Friday’s Food & Fitness! I have a tasty Sriracha Carrot Hummus recipe for you today and a fun little workout. Let’s get started.
I had this Eat Well Embrace Life Sriracha Carrot Hummus about a year ago for the first time and it was obsession at first bite. I loved the inventive twist on classic hummus coupled with the spiciness of the sriracha. Plus, an extra dose of veggies from the carrots didn’t hurt either!
I decided then and there I HAD to recreate it. And then life happened. But a year later, I’ve recreated this hummus and I’m so glad I did! I will never eat plain old boring hummus again. This recipe is perfectly delicious with a nice surprise kick! I like to eat mine straight up with pita chips or veggies or use it as a spread for a salad wrap.
Since I was traveling this week, my workouts were a little inconsistent although we stayed very active every day walking. I was super happy to return home though and get back into my normal pilates routine.
This time my mom came with me! #momanddaughterpilates
And finally, I have a little Upper Body & Core Blast for you. This one is a total doozy but I promise you’ll thank me later!

Readers, what’s your favorite type of hummus? Favorite workout this week? Are you ever relieved to get back on your routine when you get home from vacation?
YUM! This hummus sounds amazing! I hear that… nothing wrong with some extra veggies! 🙂 Love that contrast of flavors! Delicious. Also, you and your mum are the cutest! Yay for Pilates together!!
I tried Your humans and it is amazing! The siriacha and touch of honey has a wonderful tasty effect! Good job creating it! Plus you look great on the reformer doing Pilates with your mom!
