Hello! How is it already Friday!?! Last Friday I was in Cape Cod and this Friday in in Rio. #crazytimes More on that to come.
Welcome to Friday’s Food and Fitness! It’s a fishpalooza over here this week!
One of my favorite parts about vacationing on Cape Cod is the food! Every year we visit 28 Atlantic at Wequassett Inn in Harwich, Ma. The restaurant never ceases to disappoint with their views, food and service. This year was no exception.
We arrived early for a cocktail overlooking the ocean. It had rained all day long but luckily the skies cleared and we had a gorgeous view of the Atlantic Ocean!
It was the perfect setting for a pre-dinner cocktail and since the rain had made it slightly cool, we enjoyed the outdoor fire as well!
I love 28 Atlantic and I was so happy we were able to be seated by the window to enjoy the ocean views and the sunset over dinner.
And the food is always so amazing! We definitely had a fishpalooza with the best of local-caught fare! Everything was done to perfection!
Thanks 28 Atlantic for another great summer! See you again next year! Check out our previous years here and here.
I started out my week with a reformer class at Boston Body Pilates. I was really excited to check out their Boston location as they are known for their pilates in Boston. I was not disappointed! Their studio is beautiful and I totally loved the reformer class.
One of the most important things for me in pilates is to keep the class moving. I hate feeling like I’m waiting around for a ton of instruction and explanation but this class just went from one move to another. They require you to take a private reformer introduction class first, which makes sense because then you know what you are doing! I was able to skip the intro class because I already do pilates twice a week, but it is good to know!
They have a wide variety of classes on their schedule and I would love to check out their pilates mat props class and their chair class, as well as their jump board class. So many cool things!
Readers, are you a fan of fish? What do you do every summer? Best workout this week?
Oh man! I don’t know what I would do if I was allergic to fish. I was off it for a couple of months when I was pregnant and was so glad to get over it!
Beautiful Photos! Nice melding workouts with leisure (foods, sunsets, resorts, beaches, etc.). As far as fish goes: I Love Fish! I especially like the haddock, cod and other mild white fish!
How amazing to be in Rio right now. I can’t wait to hear about that. Everything looks beautiful in Cape Cod. I took an MMA style kickboxing class last week, so awesome!
